Which balls should I use?
Heater dimpled pitching machine balls. Owners running the same machine for over a year report it is essentially perfectly accurate with the yellow dimpled balls and less accurate with regular baseballs. The machine does throw real leather baseballs and softballs — that is a main selling point — but expect more pitch-to-pitch variation because of the seams.
