Pitching Machine Balls
The ball matters as much as the machine. Dimpled polyurethane balls pitch the most accurately and last longest. Real leather balls work but vary more, because the seams grip the wheel differently on each pitch. Lite balls come in speed grades by age. Synthetic leather balls are not recommended — the cover comes apart inside the machine.
